Sometimes when I think about Prince I think of Alice telling me about her huge crush on him on high school. So great. In the same conversation I think we really weirded out one of my girlfriends in the back seat talking about our crushes on androgynous men. Hers being David Bowie, mine being Tim Curry.

I was browsing videos of I Love the Nightlife because well, I got to boogy. But it turns out even in gold lamé Alicia Bridges’ stage presence is no more than amusing. I enjoy her Elvis warble regardless but her hairdo and hex eyes have nothing on Annie Lennox (der).
