Today we played Christmas music for six hours and decorated our house. We made ornaments for our tiny tree out of buttons and magazine cut-outs. We made wreaths out of newspaper and made garlands of popcorn. We strung lights in our doorways and hung tinsel on the banister. We drank warm apple cider with cinnamon and bourbon.
Tomorrow in school we will play jump rope and analyze crumpled paper. We will have a magician as a guest speaker. Our house-crush will come over for dinner. We will give him a stocking and make dioramas. We will have a wonderful, wonderful life.
